One Player Mission are working with a growing independent game developer based in the heart of the Midlands, who are seeking a Tools Programmer to join their team.

Their team is a diverse group of people. They are collaborative, high performers who embrace ideas and knowledge from everyone in the team, with the aim of developing and inspiring themselves and their games.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Deep experience in the Gaming Industry.
  • Excellent knowledge in relevant programming languages such as C++, C#, Python or Node.js.
  • Innovate and improve the quality of implementation, performance and usability of the tools and project pipeline.
  • Provide consultation and support to other team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will be working with a highly experienced team on all areas of the game.
  • Designing, implementing and improving the functioning of their tools to support the quality and production of their games.
  • Fully own tools programming through design and development, working closely with your colleagues to realise their visions.
  • Play a key role in automation and helping the team to deliver milestones.
  • You will contribute and help to drive their creative planning sessions, scrums, and retrospectives.
  • Capable of working autonomously, gathering your own requirements and creating your own solutions to improve standards.
  • Document the work to transfer knowledge and enable users to understand how to get the best from the systems and features
  • Analyse and correct tools bugs determined by the teams and testers.
DESIRED SKILLS (good to have):
  • Experience with continuous delivery systems, build and deployment pipelines.
  • Expert knowledge of test automation; experience creating and maintaining unit tests, reliability and performance tests.
  • A keen eye for user interface design and customer driven requirements.
  • Proven ability with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular or WPF.
  • Experience building applications within a cloud service such as AWS, Azure or GC.

OPMs client is looking for an Lead Artist to join their growing team and assisting the Art Director in executing their creative vision. Equal parts creative flair, technical know-how and driving force

The successful candidate will play a key role in the day to day running of the art team on our upcoming AAA title for PC and Consoles.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Extensive professional game development experience as an artist / senior artist. 
  • Existing experience in a leading art role. 
  • Shipped multiple titles with at least one deemed AAA. 
  • Advanced skill with tools such as Max, Maya, Blender, Photoshop, Substance Designer, and/or similar software. 
  • Expert knowledge of cutting-edge game engines and game art production practices. 
  • Ability to produce photorealistic art of exceptional quality. 
  • In-depth understanding of art fundamentals. 
  • A collaborative, process driven approach. 
  • Creative flare and original thinking. 
  • Understanding of contemporary aesthetics. 
  • A strong understanding of current game technology and future ambitions.

OPMs client is looking for an Experienced UI Artist to join their growing team and assist them in designing the graphical user interfaces in their upcoming AAA title on PC and Consoles.

The successful candidate will have a great working understanding of graphic design fundamentals (such as layout & composition, colour theory, typography etc). 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and other design tools. 
  • A strong portfolio of graphic design work. 
  • A collaborative, process driven approach. 
  • Creative flare and original thinking. 
  • Understanding of latest UI trends, techniques, technologies, and competitor products. 
  • Clear and concise written, verbal and visual communication. 
  • Excellent time-management, and organizational skills. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Rapidly concept graphic design elements such as menus, HUD widgets, icons and logos. 
  • Produce final quality graphic design elements. 
  • Work to art direction, game design and technical specifications.

  • Collaborate with UI engineers to deliver functioning in-game UI elements.
