One Player Mission’s client is looking for an experienced Senior VFX Artist to join their growing teams of talented developers, helping them to create exciting games that are expertly built and enjoyed by millions. The successful candidate will inspire the team and set the map art quality bar while collaborating closely with the Art Leads to ensure their maps are fun to play and look visually impressive.

The Role
The day-to-day work will be centred on crafting high-fidelity, game-ready effects. Tasks may include generating bespoke environmental effects for levels and cinematics, implementing elements for game features, and performing optimisations. You will also communicate with designers and engineers to serve gameplay progress, and action feedback from your Lead and the project Art Director.

Essential skills:

  • Experience with a Realtime engine, UE4 or UE5
  • Excellent skills with game engine particle systems, preferably  Niagara
  • Excellent skills with 3D simulation software, preferably Houdini , Maya or Blender
  • Excellent skills of shaders and materials
  • Able to prototype ideas, quick iterate on them and can handle critical or complex tasks
  • Expertise skills with cinematic effects being able to adapt them to in game effects while keeping a balance between quality and performance
  • Able to improve and adapt to our pipelines
  • Solid grasp of real-world reference and principles of physics
  • Strong skills of believable animation timing
  • Must be self-motivated and well-organised under tight deadlines
  • Passion for creating a great game experience
  • Industry Experience as a VFX artist

Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with scripting languages : VEX, HLSL, Python
  • Experience with 3D paint packages : Substance, Modo, Mari

OPMs client is looking for a talented Senior Producer to join their team for the overall production plan and execution, ensuring their team delivers the project according to the goals and objectives defined by the Directors.

The successful candidate will be working in an independent game studio with a prestigious publisher in the early stages of an exciting new project, so they’re looking to expand their team to accommodate for this growth.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Solid experience working as an internal Senior Producer within a game studio.
  • Will have worked from start to ship on at least one major console or PC project.
  • Highly experienced in Agile development process.
  • Expert using JIRA, excellent understanding of reporting and acting on key metrics.
  • Accomplished communicator. Able to motivate and articular laterally across the team, in addition to Studio Directors.
  • Expert using MS tools, such as Excel and PowerPoint.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build, manage and own the complete backlog and sprint planning cycle. Ensure sprints deliver the requirements of the milestones and are appropriately tasked and resourced. Utilise metrics effectively and produce insightful reports.
  • Proficiently facilitate team focused stand-ups. Ensure alignment across the team concerning goals and priorities. Actively manage dependencies and blockers.
  • Work with the Director of Production to ensure Monthly Milestones are defined with clear, quantifiable goals and are quality focused.
  • Work with discipline leads to maintain a relevant and strategic project roadmap, detailing key tools and technology requirements and prioritised content delivery.
  • Proactively drive to expose project risks and mitigation strategies early. Effectively communicate proposals to Director of Production and follow through with action.
  • Work carefully with the Design team to ensure the production process delivers on the creative and quality aspirations for the project.
