One Player Mission is proud to be working with a rapidly growing team of highly experienced and passionate developers, focused on creating the outstanding and amazing games of the future. 

Based in the South-East of England, they are seeking a Senior Technical Artist to join their team. A Senior Technical Artist is a generalist responsible for the Technical Art systems for THEIR game titles. This includes the creation, iteration, and delivery of all art based pipelines, workflows and systems in the game. This also includes being responsible for DCC side processes, implementation and maintenance of their Unreal pipelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be responsible for delivering content on time and to the required quality level
  • Work across a multi-discipline team to collaborate in content delivery, actively working with others to drive resolution to problems encountered
  • Regularly provide constructive feedback on your work and those around you
  • Ensure that your content is performant, robust and reliable, without compromising quality
  • Share knowledge and mentor those around you when required.
  • Help define best working practices and pipelines along with the discipline leads and the Technical Art Director, to ensure a smooth development process with suitable tooling
  • Be capable of owning a specific technical art tasks, developing and completing them with minimal iteration and feedback
  • Ensure that artistic style is consistent with the defined visual style for the game
  • Able to identify changes to processes and tooling to improve their pipelines

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong experience as a Technical Art Generalist with at least 1 area of specialisation (Tooling, pipelines, Unreal etc.)
  • A strong/expert level of skill with Maya, Unreal Engine, Python Programming
  • Working experience using ZBrush, Substance Painter, general art pipelines, performance and profiling tools, Unreal insights etc
  • Able to collaborate and work well with teams from various disciplines
  • Know how to automate and refine systems (especially those with repetitive tasks both in DCC and Unreal)
  • Have a very good understanding and experience working with Art pipelines / Workflows / Asset management and how to improve an artist’s quality of life
  • Extensive Experience working with Unreal Engine 5:Blueprints, optimisation and performance and extensive general knowledge of Unreal and its art processes and pipelines

One Player Missions client is looking for a Technical Animator to join their Animation Department. They have an enthusiastic team of developers working on the next generation of AAA games based on a much loved product enjoyed by millions of children and adult alike!

You’ll work closely with the character animation pipeline, creatively and technically alongside Animators, Riggers, Designers, Artists, Programmers and Production on a day-to-day basis.

REQUIREMENTS:

One Player Mission are delighted to be working with a AAA games developer and publisher, who have created globally recognised titles for close to twenty years.

They have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive Brand Manager to join their busy studios and support driving their games forward as they experience exponential growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with the Brand Director to build, implement and lead marketing initiatives across the portfolio
  • Work closely with development partners and internal teams to formulate strong campaigns that cut through to audiences and drive sales
  • Collaborate with community initiatives that help reach across various channels and platforms
  • Manage relationships and drive strategies with external partners across media, advertising and PR
  • Deliver product positioning, audience insights and go-to-market strategy to both internal and external stakeholders while integrating and distributing feedback
  • Brief, manage and deliver marketing assets into various partners across retail, distribution and other trade relationships
  • Effectively manage allocated budget with weekly/ monthly status updates
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Stable career growth gained in a similar position within the games industry
  • Experience gained in both games marketing and publishing with PC and Consoles
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous experience launching new products to players as well as marketing or brand campaigns from concept to release
  • Strong background executing brand campaigns focusing on player value in a distinctive, engaging manner
  • Creativity, utilising your marketing skills to analyse the best approach using relevant data
  • An ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a structured and organized manner
  • A passionate gamer and with a good understanding of the industry and its trends
