One Player Mission are pleased to be working with an exciting, independent studio based in Toronto. Recently they launched the sequel to their multi-million copy selling original.

They are looking for a Build Engineer to own and drive the development and stability of the build systems and version control. Using your experience and knowledge to help make improvements for efficiency to both the pipeline but also to automated testing.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Solid experience or education in software development, or related discipline
  • Excellent troubleshooting and debugging abilities
  • Experience designing and creating automation jobs in CI systems (e.g. Jenkins, TeamCity)
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Powershell, Batch, Python)
  • Strong knowledge in source-control administration and good practices (e.g. Perforce, Git)
  • Experience making PKGs for First Party Platforms
  • Creative, curious, and motivated to grow your technical abilities
  • Ability to communicate and discuss technical topics with both technical and business audiences
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Strong sense of initiative and ownership
  • Willingness to work in Toronto is preferred, but remote opportunities are available

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work as a technical liaison with development teams to address build issues and improvements
  • Develop and maintain automation pipelines
  • Develop robust workflows to deploy changes in a live product environment
  • Monitor automation systems and proactively respond to breakages
  • Create and monitor metrics to improve automation systems

They are looking for a Senior / Lead AI Programmer! Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead by example and set standard for the AI team in the pursuit of excellence
  • The ability to implement the required AI solutions for the game, coping with the game design intentions and the technical requirements to secure performance

As their Motion Capture System Operator you will be reporting to the Motion Capture team. You’ll be familiar with motion capture technologies, including Motion Builder and Vicon Shogun.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in setting up and adjusting Vicon cameras, and have knowledge of scripting in Blade HSL or Python, and also have experience in reconstructing and improving the processing of captured data.

One Player Mission are pleased to be working with an exciting, independent studio based in Toronto. Recently they launched the sequel to their multi-million copy selling original.

They are seeking a Lead Programmer that enjoys collaborating closely with the engineering team to build a technically excellent game across multiple platforms.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficiency in C++
  • Deep professional video game programming experience
  • A strong and efficient communicator with excellent management skills
  • A bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineers, or equivalent.
  • Previous leadership/mentorship experience, or leadership interest and potential
  • A good knowledge of programming languages and software engineering practices
  • Knowledge in developing AAA titles on multiple console platforms
  • Experience in unreal 4 or similar engines
  • Comfortable wandering around unexplored game design territory, and excited to help refine ideas into shippable features

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage a programming team at technical and personnel level
  • Provide estimate time to complete programming task/objectives and be committed to meet them
  • Help in setting up best practices for coding and conduct regular code reviews
  • Setup a process to review the game on a regular interval during development cycle and identify area of improvement
  • Collaborate directors, designers and production to ensure efficient development practices
  • Ensure that solid coding practices, technical briefs and code reviews are maintained
  • Maintain regular internal communications and encourage a positive and ambitious team atmosphere
  • Demonstrate good leadership, enthusiasm and sense of commitment
  • Take responsibility for recruitment, on-boarding, development and professional training of the programming team

As Lead Game Designer you will be leading the design team, prioritising the personal and professional development of each team member.

REQUIREMENTS:
 

  • Lead and manage the design team. 
  • Create, optimise and maintain workflows and pipelines to ensure the team’s work aligns with the games visions and goals. 
  • Work alongside other leads to fully realise the games vision. 
  • Inspire the team to create engaging, innovative and high quality design.
  • Mentor and guide the team to foster creativity and collaboration. 
  • Work with project management to ensure the design team meets milestones and delivers on time.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Previous experience in a similar role. 
  • Previous Game Design experience during a full development cycle. 
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong problem solving skills with a deep understanding of game design principles and mechanics.
