One Player Mission is proud to be working with an independent developer in Canada that has made it’s name creating multiplayer melee combat games and they have no signs of slowing down!

They are looking for a passionate Producer, Senior Producer or Technical Producer to join the team to work on an exciting new game. Reporting directly to the Development Director, the successful candidate will be helping to lead and drive the technical teams. 

The Producer will lead large components of the game in development, managing the teams to meet player and business expectations, being responsible for the team’s vision and roadmaps towards a successful launch. 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Extensive games industry experience working on both PC and consoles.
  • At least 1 game shipped. 
  • At least 1 game worked on from concept to live. 
  • Experience working on a live game. 
  • Knowledge of production tools such as Confluence, Jira, Miro and spreadsheets.
  • Knowledge of the game development life cycle, theory, and technology.
  • Able to assist in defining the scope and schedule of our projects.
  • A passion for video games with an understanding of the types of games we make.
  • Great communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Multi-tasking, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with UE5 is a bonus

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Producing technical teams, including but not limited to Online, Build and Tools.

OPMs client is looking for a talented Senior Producer to join their team for the overall production plan and execution, ensuring their team delivers the project according to the goals and objectives defined by the Directors.

  • Ensure the art team’s output respects the artistic vision of the game. 
  • Relentlessly raise the quality bar, demanding excellence from self and team. 
  • Ensure the art team has the staff, techniques and tools they need to succeed.

  • Work with directors, producers, and specialist art leads to proactively organise the art team.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional game development experience as an artist / senior artist.
  • 2 or more years experience in a leading art role.
  • Advanced skill with tools such as Max, Maya, Blender, Photoshop, Substance Designer, and/or similar software. 
  • Ability to produce photorealistic art of exceptional quality. 
  • A strong understanding of current game technology and future ambitions. 
  • Excellent time-management, and organizational skills.
  • Clear and concise written, verbal and visual communication.
  • A collaborative, process driven approach.

OPMs client is looking for a talented VFX Artist to join their team for the overall production plan and execution, ensuring their team delivers the project according to the goals and objectives defined by the Directors.

The successful candidate will be working in an independent game studio with a prestigious publisher in the early stages of an exciting new project, so they’re looking to expand their team to accommodate for this growth.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in games industry pipelines and VFX software, runtime optimisation and associated VFX animation workflows.
  • A thorough knowledge of VFX and VFX animation be it cinematic, traditional or games.
  • In depth animation VFX, with key experience using Maya, VFX software and game engines.
  • Previous experience with pre pro methodology and transferring methodology to game pipelines.
  • Comfortable presenting VFX work, updates and pre-production work to the development team.
  • Previous experience as a Senior VFX artist.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be point of contact for all VFX knowledge.
  • Be an advocate for VFX and keep up to date with current practices and products.
  • Creating or overseeing all VFX work, both in studio and outsourced.
  • Create well written VFX documentation with process examples where required.
  • Work with producers and Art Leads to ensure a realistic project scope.
  • Deliver high quality VFX.

 

DESIRED

  • Knowledge and experience with both gameplays driven and cinematic VFX and a keen interest in cinematography.
  • Experience in Unreal Engine, Unity, and in-house game engines.
  • Able to analyse and recreate VFX techniques using pre viz and compositing.
