One Player Missions client are looking for an experienced and creative individual to join their team as an Art Director. You’ll be joining the team on an ambitious and original open world survival game with a horror thematic. Visual quality is paramount, so you’ll be  building in Unreal Engine 5.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee the art direction of the game from concept to shipping.

The Game Design Tutor is part of a team responsible for the development and delivery of the Game Design programs to Undergraduate and MA students and will work with the Head of Creative Technology.

  • Experience with project management processes and methodologies
  • Is comfortable learning new methods and tools and teaching others

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Production and budget responsibility for all the games that you are assigned
  • Identifying, track and mitigates risks to each project
  • Regularly present and report on each games status to stakeholders and leads
  • Liaise with platform-holders (Nintendo, PlayStation, etc) and partners for submission and delivery of projects
  • Work closely with the various internal teams (Production, QA & Marketing)
  • Act as the point of contact for your projects with external teams including outsource vendors, licensors and publisher teams.
  • Identify and plan for opportunities for short- term and long- term efficiency improvements to the production department
  • Foster and support a positive, creative, feedback- focused culture in your teams

One Player Mission’s client is looking for a Lead 3D Artist who will join a talented team working on both current and upcoming titles

The successful candidate will get to make their creative mark in the gaming world and help create some great upcoming mobile titles

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Great knowledge and artistic ability within Maya and Zbrush, modelling, texturing, import/export processes.
  • Confidence and hands-on aptitude with Unity.
  • Excellent cross-discipline communication skills, a friendly and approachable attitude.
  • Enjoy working both independently and collaboratively, taking ownership of a feature if needed to drive it home.
  • A personal drive and ambition with a 3D art career within the games industry.
  • Ability to work remotely when/if needed.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design high quality semi-stylized to stylized 3D assets across a wide range of categories: characters, creatures, environments, props, etc.
  • Set up and optimise assets to fit technical requirements.
  • Implement assets into the project within Unity.
  • Work with team and Art Director to define and expand on a visual style.
  • Occasionally create marketing assets to show off the game.
