Video Editor – London – Permanent Contract – Video Games

Projects: Unannounced AAA Console / PC Game

My client was founded in 2009 and is a premier games developer of world class console / PC video games. Work has already begun on a new unannounced project and we are looking for a candidate who can create amazing looking marketing videos across all projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Demo Reel of your best video games work.
• Very strong post-production workflow understanding, editing, understanding of colour and lighting, and formatting for delivery.
• You have a passion for beautiful, epic visuals and creating something memorable and unique, as demonstrated by portfolio work.
• Exceptional eye for shot composition, cinematography, silhouettes, colour, contrast, lighting and overall quality.
• Experience with software similar to Adobe Premiere, Vegas, After Effects and Davinci Resolve.
• Flexible collaborator who is comfortable with taking ownership as well as direction when needed.
• Have some experience with motion graphics and able to produce title and text sequences, lower thirds, design end slates.
• Experience in the games industry required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Craft jaw dropping game trailers and other marketing videos from game capture.
• Ability to handle the creative process from idea generation through to post-production and final delivery.
• Highly creative with briefs, concepts and storyboards, an exceptional eye for cinematography.
• Partner with the Video Director and other artists and designers to collaborate on complex assignments.
• Compose artistic and cinematic shots that bring action scenes to life, both with video and screenshots.
• Adapt day to day, being able to take constructive feedback, changes in ideas and direction.
