Video Artist / Editor – South (UK) – Permanent – Video Games

My client is a Japanese Publisher and Developer who have an impressive back catalogue of top quality video games. They are expanding their international marketing department and are looking for an experienced Video Artist / Editor with Multimedia skills to help shape the visual identity of their gaming brands.

You will create and deliver marketing and digital advertising material, media assets and screenshots, short trailers and promotional videos as well as collate and deliver asset batches in line with the communications strategy for their game releases. You will need to have strong graphic design and retouching skills and be competent in Video Editing.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A degree or similar qualification in a relevant creative field
• Experience working in a similar role within the Entertainment Industry (Games Industry preferred)
• Good working knowledge of Video Editing Software (i.e. Premiere)
• Good working knowledge of Html 5/ CSS
• Excellent skills using 2D production and Image editing software
• Ability to work in different media, with existing art assets and adaptable in terms of style
• Proactive, problem solving and self-motivated
• Highly proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign & After Effects

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop video content for PR and Social media use (video capture, video editing, simple VFX)
• Capture and prepare screenshots in engine from game code (debug PS4 units and/or PC) for media distribution and social media channels
• Create digital and print advertising material
• Liaise with external media agencies for prompt material delivery
• Create and modify unique art assets for promotional use
• Design internal marketing collateral, including assets for use on social channels
• Design high-quality creatives for trade and commercial show booths
• In collaboration with the relevant teams in HQ, collate and deliver asset batches for the PR and social teams to use at scheduled intervals
• Update websites and be able to do simple web design
• Assist in the creation of game packshots/ beauty shots for promotion and production
