OPMs client is a well-established French video game developer and publisher, with a history of high quality, diverse and original catalogue of games across all major platforms.

They are seeking a UX Researcher to join their team as they continue development on some highly anticipated games

The successful candidate will help prepare and conduct studies to assess the usability of their games and audience satisfaction to guide development process of the titles.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in UX or comparable field
• Ability to communicate research results clearly
• Strong user research skills, developing appropriate methods to meet objectives, conducting appropriate analyses, and communicating results effectively
• Excellent analytical and synthesis skills.
• Passionate about gaming and games development, with strong market knowledge
• Fluent English language skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with development studios to understand their needs and adapt to the production schedule.
• Design protocols & surveys for studies using a wide range of user research methods, including playtest, usability testing, interviews, surveys, heuristic evaluations and focus groups.
• Identify the right profiles and recruit users, set up and observe playtests and analyse the results by proposing recommendations.
• Analyse the UX of their games and make recommendations.
• Create guidelines to share your experience between projects.
• Integrate accessibility at the heart of the UX design of their projects.
• Take care of the test equipment and your schedule.
• Act as a mentor for Associate UX Researchers

DESIRED SKILLS (good to have):

• Knowledge of game design
• Qualifications in ergonomics, cognitive psychology or other relevant training or experience
