OPM is working with Ireland’s largest games developer and the creator of free-to-play strategy MMO games. Their first game has grossed well into the seven figures since launching late 2014. They are now developing their second title, based on a phenomenal IP, launching in 2017.

They are looking for a highly ambitious and highly experienced Graphics & Rendering Engineer, ideally with a Technical Art background, who is passionate and self-driven about squeezing out the very best visual quality and performance possible for mobile devices using Unity technology.

Here’s what you will be doing;

  • Your goal is to push the visual quality of all our games on both ends: for high-end mobile devices as well for low-end mobile devices
  • You have a hands-on approach and are exceptional in implementing rendering solutions, shaders, effects and related tools
  • You will define the LOD strategies
  • You will help define the technical specs and constraints for content production
  • You will collaborate very closely with the art and game-dev teams
  • You will optimise existing rendering implementations and help the art team to be able to produce content
  • You will write Unity tools and pipelines

Do you have?

  • Experience in render techniques, shaders, LOD techniques etc.
  • Deep Unity specific knowledge incl. ShaderLab, Command Buffers and the GL API
  • Expertise in one of the standard shader languages such as HLSL, CGFX etc.
  • Unity Editor programming experience
  • A passion for eal-time rendering tricks and visual quality
  • Solid C# skills
  • Solid math skills
  • A passion for all things games
