Unity Developer – Mobile Games – London

OPM are working with an exciting, up and coming studio that are looking for a talented Developer join their team! You will be passionate about game development, with experience using Unity to create mobile games.

Your role:

Your main responsibility will be to develop one of their new games. You will be keen to broaden your skillset and learn new technologies and ways of working. This will include:

• Developing client game logic for one of their upcoming games.
• Developing shaders, particle systems and custom effects.
• Helping integrate 3rd party SDK’s.
• Collaborating closely with a product team including the Senior Unity Developer,
• Artists, Games Designers and Producers.
• Analysing performance and optimising code across a range of devices and platforms.

Requirements:

• Professional experience developing 2D or 3D games for mobile platforms (iOS and Android) using Unity with C#.
• Proficiency with C# and solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Creative with a good eye for detail.
• You have a deep technical understanding and a passion for games.

As a bonus:

• Experience working on published products.
• Understanding of networking and graphics, performance issues and tradeoffs.
• An appreciation of the overall development process, as well as a true understanding of how small changes and features can impact the wider architecture.
• Experience of working in an agile project environment.
• Knowledge of other programming languages including C++
