UI Programmer – Console and PC – South East

OPM are working with an independently-owned studio on the outskirts of London. They’re all about crafting engaging multiplayer experiences. Most recently, they launched a new IP on the PC and a title from a well-known franchise for Xbox One.

Now they are expanding their team for exciting new projects on PC and console, and are looking for UI experts to help make this happen.

Job Description:

In this role you will be expected to plan, implement, test and optimise new UI elements whilst writing robust and maintainable code. You will also work with UI, Art, Design and Gameplay Programming teams to define UI specifications and to ensure that your implementation fulfils the expected visual and functional requirements.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• UI programming experience in a professional videogame production
• Experienced and proficient in C++
• Knowledge of common UI software architecture and UI design patterns
• Self-motivated, strong work ethic, able to work independently
• Good verbal and written English skills
• A passion for good UI

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• Experience with Unreal Engine 4
• Familiar with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Strong math background
