OPM are partnered with one of the most innovative companies in interactive entertainment, winning numerous awards and receiving critical acclaim worldwide. Their newest studio, based in London, one of the world’s most vibrant cities, is currently growing their team and have a unique opportunity for a talented UI Programmer to join them and be a main part of the team build a varied and unique user experience for an ambitious action MMO.

The successful candidate will report to the Lead Gameplay Engineer, being involved in the UI/UX design process. You will be responsible for the technical implementation of UI for the title.


  • Experience in the technical design, implementation and maintenance of UI systems and networking in AAA PC or console titles.
  • Passionate about UI/UX and building games.
  • Strong knowledge of UI design patterns.
  • Substantial professional experience using C++.
  • Excellent understanding of Unreal Engine, Blueprints or UMG systems.
  • Versatility and proactive, able to contribute on a range of engineering tasks.
  • Experience with software debugging and optimisation.


  • Give input on the feature roadmap.
  • Identify any technical barriers and recommend solutions.
  • Develop a range of UI features in Unreal Engine using C++.
  • Design and implement maintainable and expandable code systems.
  • Work closely with the programming team to find solutions.
  • Work closely with UI/UX to create intuitive and captivating experiences.
  • Continual learning about game systems and coding best practice.
  • Work as an important part of an agile development team.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain quality and share knowledge.
  • Bug fixing and optimisation, including at the engine level.
  • Own the technical implementation of the menu and in-game systems.
