OPM Response are excited to be working for this renowned AAA games studio who are behind one of the best RPG franchises in the world. They’re a very modern and relaxed studio environment with people from all walks of life working for them in a booming industry. Due to the success of their games, they are looking to grow their team.

This is a career changing opportunity for someone who lives and breathes UI Design, UI is the main layer of this project. If you’re keen to work on one of the world’s biggest UI focused projects, then this role could be for you!

Responsibilities:

My client is looking for skilled and experienced UI Designer to join their team working on their new project.

  • Create clear and maintainable wireframes and interactive prototypes to demonstrate certain UI features
  • Establish and maintain proper documentation for the features
  • Implement UI features using scripting language (LUA/AS3)
  • Address certain UI needs and provide alternative solutions to challenges
  • Support asset implementation using a 2D/3D package solution
  • Collaborate with Gameplay Designers to provide alternative designs and solutions to challenges

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in videogame UI Design
  • AAA experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Proficiency in 3D packages (Maya, 3DStudio Max, etc.)
  • Able to use Photoshop and Illustrator and write UI logic using a scripting language
  • A strong understanding of UX design
  • Determined to provide players the best user experience
  • Willing to learn new tools and skills
  • Good English verbal and writing skills
