Project: Mobile Racing Games

OPM are proud to be working with independent mobile games developer, aiming to develop high quality sports titles based in Guildford.

They are seeking a UI Artist who is enthusiastic and eager to be deeply involved in the development of a quality sports games.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Demonstrable UI design skills in video games
• Solid professional experience in the games industry
• Knowledge of UI interaction design and UX pipelines and workflow
• Optimistic & proactive mindset
• Superb communication skills
• Great organisation, problem solving and time management skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• You will concept and design the pre-visualisation of frontend menus and UI aspects in line with the brief supplied by key stakeholders including the art director and game designer
• You will generate production art assets and collaborate with frontend programmers to ensure they are implemented correctly in game
• You will meet work goals and milestone deliverables in a full production environment
• You will take a vital role in their game’s visual identity, ensuring and driving for high quality
• You will take initiative on enhancing, streamlining, and developing art pipelines and documentation throughout the game
• You will have ownership and be responsible for your artwork
• You will collaborate with other artists to ensure consistency and quality

DESIRED SKILLS (good to have):

• Professional experience implementing UI using Unity
• Experience with Mobile F2P titles
