UI Artist – East Anglia (UK) – Video Games

My client is the UK’s leading online games studio and they are looking to expand their Art Team with a UI Artist.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator.
• Strong traditional art skills and color theory.
• Experience in creating a wide range of UI elements from logos to icons.
• Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows.
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction​
• Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with the various project teams to create intelligent and creative UI
• Execute all visual design stages from concept, asset creation to final hand-off to developers
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas

DESIRABLE QUALITIES:

• Experience in a 3D package (Max, Maya, Sketch Up).
• Working knowledge of Flash, After Effects or another industry standard animation packages.
