OPM’s client is seeking a UI Artist to join their passionate and talented team.

The successful candidate will strive to push the boundaries of UI art and animation while considering potential issues from multiple angles such as art, design, and technology.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Familiarity working with game UIs
• Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator proficiency
• Background in creating dynamic, animating UIs
• Great knowledge and understanding of graphic design and typography
• Strong portfolio: high quality execution and creative sensibility
• Excellent communication skills: need to both understand and accurately express tricky concepts with designers.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Collaborating with UI/UX design to translate their requirements into appealing visual designs.
• Working closely with art direction to present that feedback in a visually compelling way that compliments the game design, direction and tone.
• Collaborating with UI/UX designers to implement your vision of a dynamic, animated, living UI.

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Background with using tools like Adobe Animate to generate UI animation
• Games industry experience, having worked on published games
• Knowledge of web design technologies (HTML, Javascript, CSS)
• Frontend / web development experience
