UE4 Technical Designer – AAA Games – Midlands – Permanent

Our client is one of the UK’s most prolific and secure independent game developers with a talented team spread across 4 Studios. It’s an exciting time to be part of the studio; they are growing across all their studios to support a very bright and busy future.

To support the requirements of a new project they are looking for a talented UE4 Technical Designer to join the studio. If you are a maverick doing cool things with Unreal Engine 4, if you already have a title under your belt or looking for your big break in to the industry, then we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross discipline teams in the design and execution of the game vision
• Be responsible for technical elements of level creation such as creating set pieces and solving complex scripting problem
• Be responsible for scripting game mode logic
• Create prototypes to test new mechanics and level layouts
• Empower the wider design team by creating designer friendly tools and scripts
• Deliver content within quality, schedule and technical limitations
• Take a positive and constructive attitude to receiving and giving feedback

The successful candidates will receive a competitive salary dependant on their skills and experience.
