OPM are pleased to be working with a brand new client based in Manchester.

They are currently looking to expand their development team with the addition of 5 new Tools Programmers.

Do you have a background in Tools Programming and would you like to be part of a small but ambitious team working on developing and maintaining all internal development tools.

You will work closely with production, artists and design teams, to make sure the tools developed are deployed and maintained to the highest possible standard.

All tools will be used integrally in the development of a true AAA multi-platform development.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

UI and tool design expertise
C++ general expertise
Minimum 1 released title with C# and .NET experience.
Must be able to assess and appraise workflow and highlight improvements before implementing to a high standard
Prior experience in UI frameworks (WPF, Winforms, Qt, etc.).
The ability to iterate and improve features
Experience in games that have delivered complex game logic, UI, narrative and inventory systems is preferred
Able to accept feedback and must have an open approach to raising and discussing issues or feature requests.
Creative and open approach to problem solving.
