Project: AAA Action RPG ________________________________________________________________________________

Our client is an amazing developer based in beautiful Nice, France. We are looking for an experienced Technical Rigger to join development on their stunning isometric action-RPG title.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in rigging and skinning characters.
• Great knowledge of character deformations and topology.
• Outstanding knowledge of Maya and Motion Builder.
• Expertise with Python and MEL development skills are very desirable.
• Great understanding of animation principles and an animation workflow.
• Background in game development working with animation teams

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Skin, build, test and maintain rigs for characters, facial, creatures, vehicles, soft props and mechanical props.
• Create tools and scripts to support the animation pipeline using rigs.
• Work alongside the Lead Animator, Animators and Character team to ensure assets are completed at the desired quality bar and technical requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Mentorship of animators to help improve their Maya/MotionBuilder skills.
