Our client is an internationally recognised multi-media publisher, dedicated to bringing outstanding gaming experiences to its global audience. They are seeking a Technical Lead who will share their passion in delivering the unexpected, through innovative, first-class technology.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering or equivalent.

· Team Management Experience

· Excellent communication in English 

· Proven AAA games experience.

· Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies.

· Analyse how a technology and propose improvements autonomously.

· Exceptional knowledge in modern C++

· Experience in programming robust, optimized, and efficient code

· Experience with third party middleware (integration, support, etc.)

· Experience in consoles

· A thorough grasp of memory management & multithreaded programming techniques

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Help establish/maintain the technical direction of features & systems along with product owners and relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage and mentor Physics (Engine Core) & Character Customization (Engine 3D) teams.
  • As part of the leadership team, help solving risks and blockers along with production.
  • Provide expert input in areas that require a decision regarding technology.
  • Maintain trusted relationships and fluid communication channels with local teams and partners.
  • Create documentation for onboarding inexperienced users of a technology in your perimeter.
  • Communicate new services, improvements, or any other useful information to the game team.
