Their newest studio, based in London, is currently growing their team and have a unique opportunity for a talented Technical Director to join them and lead the technical vision of their project providing support, mentoring and guidance to the wider engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track-record as a Technical Director on multiple high-profile titles.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Shipped a high-profile AAA, MMO or heavily server-based title in a Technical Director role.
• Experience managing and mentoring a team of engineers, providing guidance and support.
• Deep knowledge and expertise with UE4, networking and the replication layer.
• Experience driving the technical architecture of a heavily server-based game, ideally using AWS or a similar cloud service provider.
• Experience driving the technical architecture of a live-game, supporting low-overhead feature and content updates on a regular basis. Experience building a designer facing CMS for games support would be ideal.
• Expert knowledge of C++ and comfortable with a range of coding and scripting languages.
• Experience creating and managing source control and continuous integration systems for runtime and backend deployments.
• Strong time management skills
• Experience with procedural generation of environments and other game content would be a bonus
