OPM is excited to be working with this leading AAA games developer based in the Netherlands. With over a decade’s experience in the games industry, they have grown into a multicultural team of over 200 people that have strived to achieve technical and artistic excellence in their games.

They’re looking for a Technical Designer with experience in the creation of open world setting to work on their future projects.

Responsibilities:

• You will be part of a small team tasked with creating ground-breaking, innovative gameplay with a focus on story and characters
• You will be solving challenging technical problems that involve multiple disciplines in a fast-changing environment
• You will listen to designers’ requests for help, distil their intentions, and translate those intentions into programmer requirements
• You will guide designers towards solutions for their technical problems

Requirements:

• A proven track record of at least one shipped AAA console title, an open world game will be a great advantage
• Experience with graph-based scripting and/or C++
• Ability to weigh the urgency for feature requests against other requests
• Experience with automation of tasks via scripting is a plus
• Experience with various engines, editors and their workflows

The successful candidates will receive a competitive salary dependant on their skills and experience.
