Our client is looking for an experienced, talented and versatile Technical Artist to join its development team.

As a Technical Artist you will be working closely with the Art Director and the Tech team to develop and visualize features and effects.  You will be heavily involved in developing the art pipeline as well as researching and implementing solutions to increase the efficiency of the art teams.  You will help drive art optimization and serve as a liaison between the tech and art teams.

The first project for this position will be on a new open-world multiplayer game that is in early concepting stage, to enter pre-production in Q4 2018

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of PBR Working.
  • Knowledge of 3d Math/ trigonometry.
  • Excellent knowledge of 3DS Max, and other tools such as substance painter, zbrush, etc.
  • Experience in working within tight memory and performance constraints.
  • Working knowledge of some scripting or programming language (Python, C#, etc.)
  • Shipped one or more titles in a similar role

Desirable:

  • Experience working with Unreal Engine 4
  • Understanding of HLSL and C++/C#

  • To have a passion for games and your profession
  • To be able to work independently and to be self-directing
