Technical Artist – Poland – Relocation Support + Benefits – AAA Games

My client was born out of raw passion for video games and you can see this in their exceptional games. Having experienced immense success with the release of their fantasy RPG games they are now expanding their second studio. Working in this studio, you will play an important role working on their core properties.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience as a Technical Artist at a games developer.
  • Familiar with a scripting language (python preferred).
  • Proficient in modeling packages (Maya preferred) and Photoshop.
  • Basic knowledge of physically based rendering (PBR).
  • Proven modeling and texturing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Embedded in the console games Art team as a dedicated Technical Artist.
  • Focus on developing a superlative modelling and texturing pipeline.
  • Define and document technical standards.
  • Conducting ongoing technical reviews.
  • Providing corrective feedback to artists.
  • Conducting workshops.
  • Creating environmental, character and hard surface assets as needed.
  • Working closely with the animation department.
  • Cooperating effectively with designers and programmers.
