Project: Multi-platform Games

OPM is proud to be working with a well establish developer, with a history of over 20 years based in the suburbs of Paris. They are seeking a Technical Artist to join their team developing and producing for both their own creations and in collaboration with industry leading companies and franchises.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Technical Artist, with a strong background using Unreal Engine in games development.


  • Developing their projects with both their in-house engine and Unreal Engine.
  • Alongside the programming team, you will establish the pipeline for the creation and integration of the various types of graphics such as characters, animations, levels etc.
  • Establishing the use of new types of data to meet the requirements of the games.
  • Oversee graphics to maximise the quality and performance, from artists' software to game engines and iterations.


  • Mastery of Unreal Engine having shipped at least one game working with this engine.
  • Strong multi-discipline communication skills, able to converse on technical issues, acting as the bridge between art teams and programming teams.
  • Strong 3DS Max skills, able to model environments, as well as prepare models for rigging/skinning.
  • Strong Motion Builder skills, able to handle both mocap and handmade animations.
  • Strong ZBrush skills.
  • Strong Substance skills.
  • Knowledge of Perforce.

DESIRED SKILLS (But not necessary):

  • Able to produce high quality assets such as environment, characters, props etc would be a big advantage.
