My client is a member of a global brand recognised around the world as a leader in video games development software and hardware. Their mission is to create innovative and market leading games with broad market appeal, focused on social-group, play and entertainment. Their portfolio includes titles that are technically acclaimed, multi-million selling franchises that pay testament to their attention to innovation and quality. With a new project in development and a high workload they now require an experienced Technical Artist.



  • Highly skilled in using Maya for modelling and animation
  • Experience of game development on current generation platforms
  • Experience of modelling, texturing, rigging and animation of characters for current generation platforms
  • Deep understanding of modelling techniques
  • Able to work independently



  • Analyse existing content to understand different practices in modelling and animation
  • Modify existing content to meet the requirements of the project
  • Create test characters/models/animations.
  • Create documentation aimed at artists describing art processes



  • Experience of MAX or other modelling tool
  • Experience in environment modelling
  • Understanding of the tool chain to convert models to game assets
  • Experience of working in an R&D environment
  • Interested in 3D printing
