Project: Realtime Cinematics

OPM’s client is seeking a motivated and experienced Technical Artist to join their talented team for development on their upcoming release.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Engine team and many other aspects of the game and providing assistance wherever required.


  • Plan and support end to end pipelines
  • Bring your own experience of best working practices to the team
  • Be involved in the technical and creative development of the project and deliver high end in-game seamless cinematics, from storyboards all the way to final characters and in game cinematics
  • Continuously evaluate pipelines, tools, and techniques to ensure the art team are working as efficiently as possible
  • Assist the art team with tech related issues on a day-to-day basis working within the framework defined by the code team and existing established methods
  • Support the cinematics teams by providing technical support for real-time cinematic sequences, including lighting, props, Blueprints and Sequencer integration.


  • Strong experience as a Technical Artist on a minimum of one shipped title
  • Strong UE Editor skills
  • Strong experience with Unreal Sequencer
  • Expert knowledge of Maya
  • Solid working knowledge of Unreal Blueprints, AnimGraph, real-time lighting, and Lightmass
  • Solid Maya scripting skills (Python) with examples


  • Familiarity working on the development of high-quality AAA in-game cinematics
  • Unreal material authoring experience
  • Understanding of HLSL
  • Understanding of updating render pipelines
  • Knowledge of VFX in Unreal Engine, Niagara experience
  • Console development experience
