Technical Artist – East Anglia (UK) – Video Games

My client is the UK’s leading online games studio and they are looking to expand their Tech Team with an experienced Technical Artist. This is a great opportunity to work in a varied and challenging role with creative input and technical direction.



  • Solid understanding of polygon modeling, UV editing, Character Rigging, etc
  • Solid understanding of MAX Script tool development and other relevant languages
  • Strong understanding of current generation rendering techniques.
  • Competence in C# and C++ and with real-time shader development.
  • Competence with math functions and linear algebra for rigging or shading.
  • A strong interest in other platforms and emerging technology.



  • Assists in designing tools/process solutions and pipelines for artists.
  • Develops tools solutions using scripting or programming languages associated with production applications.
  • Recognizes inefficiencies and problems in existing pipelines and identifies solutions.
  • Supports improvement/enhancement of processes on a live MMO
  • Assists other artists in technical aspects of game creation.
