OPM are proud to be working with one of the worldwide leaders in mobile games with an incredibly talented international team, who are seeking a Technical Animator to join them at their studio based in beautiful city of Barcelona.

The successful candidate will be designing, constructing, and maintaining the pipeline for their animation systems, riggings and workflows used by the animation team. You will collaborate closely with the Art directors, leads and developers to recommend, research and produce the best animation solutions.


  • Professional experience in games as a Technical Animator or Character TD or similar relevant position.
  • Deep understanding of the rigging and skinning processes on common commercial 3d packages such as Max & Maya.
  • Great knowledge of animation logic like node graphs, animations trees, procedural animation and similar editor technologies within Unity or related engines.
  • Solid knowledge of video games animation principles.
  • Understanding of real-time, techniques and methodologies used on video game art development.
  • Passionate about games and the gaming industry.
  • Positive and proactive attitude, with good communication and organisational skills.
  • Good English language skills.


  • Design, produce and maintain rigs and animation systems in combination with animators, technical artists, programmers, and other team members.
  • Offer technical support to the animation team.
  • Support the integration and validation of animation assets into the game engine.
  • Support the design of animation features with technical and gameplay constraints.
  • Research and share knowledge of existing animation tools, pipelines, and workflows within the video game industry.
  • Mentor and support the animation team and help them acquire technical skills and video game animation principles.
