Technical Animator & Rigger – Remote OR London (UK) – Console Video Games

Note:                      This is a full-time position to be worked remotely or from their studio in London


For the past decade this premier games developer has been making world class console video games. Work is well underway on a new project and they are looking for an experienced and passionate Technical Animator to provide creative and technical support to their Character and Animation teams.


  • A minimum of one AAA game shipped as a Technical Animator & Rigger or equivalent.
  • Proficient in 3D Character and Animation Production Pipelines.
  • Proficient in Character Body and Facial Rigging.
  • Proficient in Python Scripting.
  • Creative in Technical problem solving.
  • Experience with Motion Capture.
  • Experience with dynamic Simulation systems.
  • Strong Communication and Organisational skills.


  • Update and Maintain the current Character and Animation Pipelines.
  • Produce and Maintain Tools and processes to support the Character and Animation teams.
  • Rig Assets effectively for Animation and Export them correctly for In-Game.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with Assets and Scenes in Maya and In-Game.
  • Collaborate with Art and Programming teams to facilitate effective communication.
  • Produce Animation Simulations for In-Game Set pieces and Cinematics.


  • Experience in 3dsMax and/or Motion Builder
  • Experience with Maxscript
