Project: AAA Racing Games

This award-winning UK developer is seeking a Technical Animator to join work on a AAA Racing title. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of rigging and deformation, whilst contributing to the development their internal animation pipeline.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A recent demo reel or portfolio displaying an expert understanding of animation rigs and rigging tool development for games
• Strong experience of rigging methods and deformation in Maya and/or 3DS Max
• Basic/advanced coding skills with Python and/or Maxscript
• Experience creating state machines and knowledge of runtime IK solutions
• Strong eye for anatomy and silhouettes
• Self- motivated, imaginative, and able to utilise initiative to execute solutions and improvements to internal processes
