FTC Senior Software Developer in Test – Video Games – Dublin

They are trusted and relied upon by many of the world’s leading video game companies to work alongside them during concept, development and live operations.

As Senior Software Developer in Test, your main responsibilities in addition to supporting the team, are to plan, manage review and bug creation resulting from compliance test tools, to identify and mitigate compliance risk. You will also plan and manage execution of centralized Compliance validation testing for the client services and products for release to international markets.


Job description:

  • Schedule and evaluate results of weekly centralized Compliance testing and reporting.
  • Assist in identifying/verifying issues by triaging resulting from testing.
  • Verify context of potential issues to determine the need to write a bug.
  • Aggregate multiple instances of an issue found and to create individual bugs.
  • Tracking issues and evaluating status against defined criteria.
  • Oversee Compliance bug creation via test harness automation or manual bug writing as needed.
  • Evaluate results of Compliance scans of our client service and products.
  • Write, triage, track, and assign Compliance bugs.
  • Escalate questions and issues to the Compliance manager for the core product/s.
  • Assist as needed in creation of TFS Queries for Compliance bug and deliverable assessments.

Required skills:

  • Professional experience in a Quality Assurance or software testing role.
  • Experience with testing and quality control tools and methods.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Experience managing complex projects and familiarity with Compliance process is required.
  • Excellent project management skills with proven track record in managing multiple projects simultaneously required.
  • Proven team leadership and stakeholder management experience.
  • Familiarity with current Microsoft products (Windows, Office Suite).
  • Experience working effectively with remote partners, extended teams, and external suppliers (ideally on a global basis).



  • Background or familiarity with Compliance risk detection/determination and mitigation.
  • Related experience in Compliance tools preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • Fluency in a foreign language (in addition to fluent English).
  • Experience in source code tools, authoring test tools and code documentation.
  • Ability to read C and C# (Managed) code.
