Unity Programmer – VR Games – North UK

Our client, based in Leeds, makes Virtual Reality games for established IPs. They make both mobile and console VR games. Their goal is to maximise the value of their prior work experiences to efficiently progress game concepting, design, production and testing.

They’re looking for an experienced Unity Developer to join the team in-house.

The right candidate requires experience working in C# and Unity 3D. This role requires a highly motivated individual, who is confidence and is happy to share their ideas to help drive the project.

Core Skills:

• Experience working with C# and the Unity Game Engine
• Clean and robust programming
• Creative attitude to problem solving
• Ability to work as part of a team and take an initiative
• Exceptional verbal and written communications skills

Pluses:

• Experience with Git and other version control systems
• Experience of developing VR titles especially for mobile devices
• Experience with graphics and shaders
• Shipped at least one console title for Sony PlayStation, ideally for PSVR
• Computer Science or related degree
• A passion for making and playing games​
