Senior UI Artist – New Zealand – Mobile Games

OPM’s client is looking for a Senior UI Artist who will join a talented team working on both current and upcoming titles

The successful candidate will get to make their creative mark in the gaming world and help create some great upcoming mobile titles

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A great eye for graphic design, UI and motion graphics, and how they come together in games.
  • Strong illustrative art skills. Ability to paint stylized assets/icons a must.
  • Confidence and hands-on aptitude with Unity.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite – namely Photoshop and XD (although other UX design software is just fine)
  • Excellent cross-discipline communication skills, a friendly and approachable attitude.
  • Openness to collaborate and build great UI with a team.
  • Enjoy working both independently and collaboratively, taking ownership of a feature if needed to drive it home.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and develop intuitive flows to creatively solve game design requirements.
  • Create, implement, and animate UI screens and art elements.
  • Communicate UI/UX vision and ideas to the team, collaborate to balance function and visual quality.
  • Keep up to date with best practices and new techniques to keep the Game UI in line with modern standards.
