Senior Technical Animator – Midlands, UK – Permanent – AAA Fantasy RPG

Project: AAA Fantasy RPG __________________________________________________________________________________

This award-winning UK developer is seeking a Senior Technical Animator to join work on a AAA Fantasy RPG title. The successful candidate will work across the animation and engineering teams to formulate animation solutions and pipelines, produce rigs for animators and help in developing their animation workflows.

REQUIREMENTS:

• An excellent portfolio demonstrating your animation rigs and rigging tool development for AAA games
• Solid understanding and experience of rigging and deformation in Maya
• Able to code with Python
• Professional experience producing animation networks and handling runtime IK solutions
• Professional experience with motion capture pipelines and MotionBuilder
• Motivated, creative, and able to utilise own initiative to implement solutions and improvements to internal processes

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Experience with Plugin development using C++ would be an advantage
