OPM are pleased to be working with this multi-national games studio, located in one of the warmest, most beautiful and wealthiest areas in the South of Germany at the French border. Here you will get to work on projects with new and also big longtime established IPs. You will be able to work on newest hard and software like XboxOne, PS4, Oculus, Sony PSVR and Unreal Engine. They studio are currently working on an unannounced project for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

They are now looking for an experienced Senior Technology/Engine Programmer to work with the industry-leading Unreal 4 engine. For those looking to sink their teeth into every aspect of engine development, you will also have the opportunity to delve into optimization and expanding their proprietary cross-platform technology (PC/Xbox One/PS4).

As Senior Technology Programmer, you will work on the low-level core engine technology (rendering, streaming, streaming, audio, physics, animation), taking the engine forward into the next console generation and upcoming handled devices.

You will provide and maintain modifications to Unreal Engine 4, further optimize their technology for high performance and memory efficiency. You will also be developing cutting-edge eye-candy rendering features and research new technology over a wide field of disciplines.  


Technical Requirements

·Proven professional experience in games development

·At least one PS4/Xbox One game shipped and involved during entire development cycle

·Deep understanding of 3D rendering pipelines and lighting systems (forward & deferred rendering shading experience)

·Working knowledge of assembly languages (Intel, PowerPC, SIMD: SSE, MMX), HLSL, Cg, GLSL, CUDA

·Strong mathematics and knowledge of complex algorithms

·Good understanding and practical experience of optimization

·Familiarity with a range of graphical rendering techniques

·Console experience on multiple major platforms

·Experience with Razor, GPAD, PIX, and Spark (and any other relevant profilers) is a plus

·Extensive SPU and threading experience is a bonus

·Substantial DX11, GX2, GCM or X360 API experience desirable

·Unreal 4 experience advantageous
