OPM are working with a high-profile Manchester based Developer looking for a Senior Programmer to work on VR Projects.
Ideally you should have experience in a wide range of functions including: AI, Graphics, Systems and Physics.
You should also be able to demonstrate an in depth understanding of either rendering, networking, gameplay or AI programming.
Experience with UE4 would be an advantage.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Developing and testing multiple areas of the game code
Ensuring code is efficient and maintainable
Collaborating with the code team and other disciplines to create a AAA quality product
Delivering high quality code within agreed deadlines
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You will have shipped at least 2 successful games in senior programming roles.
You will be an expert in in C and C++, with strong generalist programming and systems architecture skills.
Console programming experience is essential.
Experience with Unreal Engine an advantage. .
