Senior Programmer – PC Games – France

OPM is working with a Games Developer that has released a range of games on PC to critical success.

 

They are now in a position to hire a talented and experimented Senior Gameplay programmer who will help create great quality games.

 

You should be a passionate and creative individual that likes to you like to share your ideas.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work side by side with designers, artists, and engineers implement and iterate on game systems
  • Contribute ideas toward all aspects of the game’s production and development
  • Use rapid prototyping to experiment with game design
  • Regularly play test and provide feedback on the game

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Strong OO programming skills (Haxe, C++…)
  • Comfortable prototyping and working with iterative development process
  • Ability to analyse game designer requests and iterate with designers to deliver implementations that are fun and engaging while still being robust and performant
