OPM are excited to be working with one of the UK’s most prolific and secure independent game developers, with multiple UK studios now and many fantastic new opportunities on the horizon.


They are now looking for an enthusiastic and experienced senior programmer to join the new team, to assist with development of existing console and Windows based projects.


As a Senior Programmer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust game, engine and tool functionality in collaboration with Technical Leadership and the wider team to fulfil technical and creative requirements. You'll contribute to the creation and maintenance of realistic schedules in collaboration with Technical Leadership and Project Management, communicating progress and impediments as they arise.




  • A Batchelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or the equivalent in experience
  • Good industry experience with a history of success on significant projects
  • Strong C++ programming skills and proficient in other relevant languages
  • Broad and deep contemporary knowledge of game systems, engines and PC/console platforms
  • Strong 3D math skills
  • Proficient and pragmatic in debugging and profiling/optimisation
  • Quality-minded, with great attention to detail
  • Experience of platform service integration and platform-holder requirements
  • Knowledge of commercial game engines and middleware
  • Experience of localisation/culturalization pipelines and considerations
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and build distribution systems
  • Create and own complex systems from start to finish
