OPM are currently working with a leading sports game provider who are looking for a Senior Manager who will be the principal contact for their partnership with major Football Clubs throughout Europe. The purpose of the role is to establish, build and maintain relationships with existing clubs and league partners at all levels. Confidently with the aim to create and manage activation plans in collaboration with clubs, to maximise the value of their investment in partnerships across EMEA.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Create an overview of key contacts and decision processes within the clubs
• Develop and manage relationships across the football club organisation
• Outline activation assets and activation possibilities
• Define new and innovate activation concepts to be presented for the club and internally for approvals
• Present tailored value propositions and activation plans for internal and external decision makers
• Define activation KPI’s and measure activation success
• Ensure contractual terms and conditions are adhered to within product development, creation of assets and execution of marketing and communication plans
• Maximise the value of existing partnerships by using the full amount of partnership rights
• Utilise and manage ticket allocation by inviting and facilitating local events, inviting press/media and key people
• Provide monthly report outlining achievements and future plans
• Create yearly evaluation reports and propose on future required rights and activation initiatives
• Work with agencies and internal groups to deliver required assets for LED boards, emails, screens, print etc.
• Deliver Media valuation reports per activity to understand the value generated
• Coordination and manage of trailer shooting, 3D scan and player access with the club and Production company
• Work closely with internal partners as Brand and Development teams and other business units to understand partnership and activation needs and requirements Football games
• Work closely with HQ partners to align budgets and initiatives

Skills & Experience

• Experience with planning, production and marketing
• Ability to define and build detailed and attractive activation plans
• Great relationship management skills
• High level of gravitas for interactions with football clubs and partners
• Ability to motivate and inspire people
• Must have the ability to achieve results in an ever-changing environment
• Experience with working in a multicultural environment
• Must demonstrate good listening, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within multiple departments and clearly communicate business strategy
• Experience with interacting and managing complex production shooting and crew
• Passion for football and gaming interest
• Strong presentations skills
• A self-starter with a can-do, positive and friendly attitude
• Experience from football clubs or federations is a plus
• Speaking multiple languages is a plus. English is required, but Spanish, France, German, Italian is a plus
