Senior Live Producer – AAA MMO Games – On-site Oslo, Norway
One Player Mission is proud to be working alongside a well established developer who has a storied history of crafting innovative and critically acclaimed games.
As a Senior Live Producer, you will be responsible for leading and managing the live operations of production, ensuring that players are provided with engaging, entertaining, and seamless gaming experiences. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, art, programming, QA, and marketing to manage the full lifecycle of live games.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience in live operations or production within the gaming industry, with a proven track record of success in managing Games as a Service.
- Deep understanding of game development processes and best practices, particularly in Games as a Service.
- Strong project management skills, with experience in Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Data-driven mindset, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of player motivations, behaviours, and preferences.
- Ability to travel and to have a flexible schedule as required to work with teams across multiple time zones
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage live operations, including content updates, seasonal events, and other live services to drive player engagement and monetization.
- Develop and implement live operations strategies, roadmaps, and content release plans, ensuring alignment with the overall product vision and business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, develop, and execute live content and features, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with high quality.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform data-driven decision-making and identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, as well as external partners and vendors.
- Coordinate with marketing, community, and customer support teams to ensure that players are well-informed and supported throughout the live service lifecycle.
- Oversee and mentor other less experienced live producers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and excellence.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in live operations, incorporating learnings and insights into the ongoing development of live games.
