OPM’s client is a world famous, award winning studio based in the UK.

They are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Lighting Artist to play a pivotal role in defining the overall feel and atmosphere of their brand-new IP.


  • Lighting levels and characters, contributing to the overall look of the frame
  • Show your understanding of light, colour, form, and composition within tight performance budgets
  • Assist manage the team’s schedule, making sure that milestones are adhered to and pipelines remain unblocked
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities as this is critical to the success of this role
  • Collaborate closely with cross-discipline teams to produce high fidelity, believable, real-time lighting in an exciting Sci-Fi world


  • Outstanding artistic ability and world-class real-time lighting skills
  • Deep understanding of contemporary workflows, processes and where lighting fits into every stage of a modern AAA production
  • Display mastery of real time lighting technology, to reach the desired image quality – GI, shadow, reflections, IES profiles, colour space, exposure, etc. as well as post, fog, screen effects
  • In-depth understanding of how image quality and art style effect the gameplay experience
  • Ability to produce production guidelines, budgets, and visual targets
  • Background shipping on multiple platforms and scaling visual quality between
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills within the lighting and more general image quality realm


  • Expertise with off-line and real-time rendering packages
  • Background scheduling and working in a large team with dependencies
  • Proven ownership tools and pipelines pertaining to lighting
  • Traditional art skills
  • Unreal engine experience
