OPMs client is one of the UK's most prolific and secure independent game developers with a talented team spread across 4 Studios. It’s an exciting time to be part of their team; they are growing across all their studios to support a very bright and busy future.

They are seeking a talented Senior Level Designer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a designer looking to join development on some exciting new projects with high-profile IPs.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Extensive professional experience with level designer, having shipped at least two games.
  • Strong understanding of level design principles, such as pacing and flow regarding both single and multiplayer games.
  • Professional experience with first and/or third person action adventure or shooting games.
  • Knowledge of 3D software packages such as Max and Maya.
  • Experience mentoring junior team members.
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and execute your levels from high-level concept to implementation.
  • Cooperate with cross-discipline teams to make those levels thrilling, innovative, and absorbing.
  • Utilise extensive playtesting to refine your work.
  • Guide and mentor a team of level designers to help produce levels.
