OPM’s client are looking for an experienced VFX Artist to join their talented team at a very exciting time on an ambitious and ground-breaking open-world title.

They are looking for a Senior/Lead VFX Artist to work under the guidance Art Director and the Cinematic Director, as they build systems, develop gameplay, and create the narrative of their project.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Extensive experience within the games industry as a VFX Artist.
• Professional experience creating consistently gorgeous real-time effects using DCC apps and in-game FX systems.
• Professional experience profiling VFX performance with in-engine tools including PopcornFX, Niagara etc.
• Good knowledge and awareness of game design and narrative design.
• Strong eye for lighting details, and the capability to use them in crafting top notch visual effects that support gameplay and cinematography.
• Self-motivated with superb interpersonal skills, and able to work within a team.
• Positive mindset, able to receive and offer objective feedback.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Development of high quality handcrafted visual effects to be used in gameplay and real-time cinematics.
• Technical setup, implementation, and troubleshooting of VFX with the game engine.
• Act as a participant in team art conversations, critiques, and reviews.
• Maintain quality and consistency throughout your work to meet goals, and schedule.
• Cooperate with Art Director, Cinematics Director, and Tech Art to establish creative and technical requirements.
• Cooperate with lighting artists, mission scripters and cinematic artists to execute VFX in the game.
