OPM’s client is a world class team of diverse and multi-national talent who are well known for crafting memorable gaming experiences.

They are seeking a talented Senior Gameplay Animator capable of creating and implementing realistic Human and Creature animations for their multi award winning fantasy IP.

The successful candidate will be approachable and proactive, alongside having a strong understanding of game pipelines and gameplay mechanics.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A demo reel showcasing your highest quality human and creature animations
• Professional experience working with gameplay animations and understanding of implementing animations in-game
• Good knowledge of animation pipelines from concept to implementation
• Outstanding problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset
• Great hand-key animation skills for human and creatures
• Superb communication skills and ability to work within a team
• Capability to receive and employ critique on your work and complete tasks to schedule

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Take ownership of your tasks, from Maya to their in-game implementation
• Ensure that the standard of your work is of top quality, assessing both the in-game function and appearance
• Creatively interpret and apply references when no explicit reference is provided
• Cooperate with multiple disciplines to realise your vision, alongside mentoring junior team members.

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Experience of the full development cycle of a video game title
• Keen interest in Strategy Games
• Professional Motion Capture experience
• Professional Motion Builder experience
