OPM’s client, a successful developer of award-winning racing games, is currently looking for a Senior Game Economy Designer to join their growing team.

Working in a passionate close-knit team that ensures your voice doesn’t get lost in the crowd, you will deliver AAA racing games within a studio that will value and recognise your contributions.

As well as representing the game in company meetings and events, including attending trade shows, graduation fares, and any other proceedings deemed necessary by senior management, you will be an ambassador for cutting edge practices, bringing your passion and commitment to economy design and pushing the boundaries on new ideas. This is a fast-evolving profession and you will be surrounded by some of the best games developers and balancers in the business.

Requirements:

• Experience from concept to shipping of an economy within a game
• Create concept documents, user flow diagrams and prototypes to try out different economy models and ideas
• Show awareness of different game economies and trends
• Be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in written form to all levels
• Inspire and mentor the design teams
• Iterate with the team on the game’s economy system and functionality (menu’s, flow, etc)
• Possess analytical skills
• Show an interest in psychology, user behavior and cognitive science
• Ideally have experience developing and working with UX and meta game design and strategy stakeholders
