Our client is looking for an outstanding, high energy, enthusiastic and highly self-motivated experienced Senior Game Designer to work on their upcoming FPS titles, based in their studio in Cornwall.

The successful candidate will report to their Design Director, contribute to the discussions on numerous design concerns, devise design tasks, give feedback and recommendations to other team members.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Solid experience working in PC or Console design roles having shipped a previous FPS or action adventure / stealth game.
• Strong experience developing successful game design elements such as, systems and mechanics design.
• Robust understanding of game design principles.
• Excellent communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborating cross-discipline to uphold and execute the vision of the title.
• Communicating the game’s design to multi-discipline teams.
• Offer support and guide junior members of the team.
• Present and deliver feedback to others regarding design issues.
• Estimate and deliver work in a timely manner as scheduled and agreed.

DESIRED:

• Passionate about adventure, stealth and or FPS games.
• Experience with JIRA/Agile process.
