Our client is an early stage stealth startup working on an innovative service for gamers. They have raised several million euros in funding from games industry leaders, validated their offering with end users and are now building their platform towards launch.

They are looking for a Senior Game Designer with strong experience in designing live features and design tools for premium GaaS or F2P titles.

REQUIREMENTS:

• You have worked as a senior designer or equivalent for a live F2P game or premium GaaS title
• You are passionate about GaaS/F2P gaming
• You have experience in systems design for live ops and have designed social features, such as tournaments or clan systems, for live titles
• You have helped design the tooling that drives a live feature, and have experience in managing the design of a live title post-launch
• You are able to clearly communicate your ideas and solutions and talk about them with the team in English
• You are a proactive contributor who works well in small teams
• You are a creative individual who enjoys tackling new challenges and exploring innovative solutions to tough and unique problems

DESIRED:

• You have a passion for MOBA games and a love for a wide range of genres
• Experience with economy and/or metagame design
• Experience in UX/UI design
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as C# or Lua
• Experience working with the Unity game engine

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Designing core, meta and supporting features for an innovative combination of social X playful X platform
• Communicating and iterating on designs with stakeholders and developers
• Play a key role in designing the tooling that will optimise the iteration of the design on the live product
• Use live data and KPIs to inform decisions on new features or improvements to existing features
• Balancing, managing, and improving features once live
