Project – F2P Mobile

Our client creates some of the very best racing games on the planet. They have established a leading franchise and they’re looking to push it even further in several exciting new projects. They pride themselves on the quality of their design and are looking for a Junior Game Designer to join the team.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong experience as a free-to-play / mobile game designer
• Good understanding of game KPIs and always look for opportunities to improve them using your expertise and a growth mindset
• System design
• Balancing (economy, meta-game & gameplay)
• Massive passion for the mobile gaming industry
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
• Constant desire to improve self and the team
• Narrative design experience/interest would be ideal

RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Operate features from the beginning to the end in an autonomous fashion
• Provide feature specs for the programmers and any other design work needed for the development of the feature
• Support design by creating mock-ups and flows for the UX team
• Create balancings in spreadsheets, Incorporate the balancings through in-house tools, test them in-game and work with QA when necessary
• Become the key design contact point for the live-ops team
• Assist live-ops by following the day-to-day health and economy of the live game, working adeptly to provide needed balancing changes
• Constantly fine-tune the core racing gameplay and economy/meta-game systems to ensure they reinforce the Fun Factor of the game
